I like to imagine she inherited them from her family and it's the only worn or rugged items she'll ever wear out in public. But since most things fashionable in Solution Nine are overwhelmingly made of synthetic materials, having some genuine Rroneek leather still ends up being a statement piece.

Honey's probably my favorite NPC to dress up and one little headcanon I have is she's of Shaaloani Tonawawtan descent, but she's fully embraced the S9 city lifestyle, so she expresses her heritage in a very low-key way: wearing embroidered leather shoes and cowboy boots.
