America First = America Alone

Unprecedented: the U.S. is the only country out of 184 to see a drop in international tourism this year. Everyone else is rebounding. We’re projected to lose $12.5 billion in spending—jobs, small businesses, entire communities will feel this.

Join the conversation on May 28 at 3 p.m. ET to share stories and discuss the serious impacts of the Trump administration’s recent funding freezes and cuts—from farms to cities across the U.S.—and how we can work together to take back our future.
Welcome! You are invited to join a meeting: Release the Funds Town Hall: A National Conversation about Putting America’s Future Back in the Hands of Communities. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email about joining the meeting.
We all want clean water, clean air, affordable communities that thrive economically, and a livable future for our children—no matter where we live, how much money we make, or our backgrounds. How we get there looks different, but our local communities know what solutions will serve them best. However, our government is going back on its word to support its own communities and taking away the long-awaited investments that would have put them in the driver's seat, all to line the pockets of corporate polluters and billionaires. Join us as we share stories and discuss the serious impacts of recent funding freezes and cuts on our communities—from farms to cities all across the country—and what we can do collectively to take our future back. Moderators: Matthew Tejada, Senior Vice President, Environmental Health, NRDC Helen Chin, President & Co-Director, Communities First Fund With Catherine Coleman Flowers, and stories from across the United States including Native American Community Clinic, Appalachian Voices, and one of Montana’s largest credit unions Register and join our town hall: WHAT: Release the Funds: A National Conversation about Putting America’s Future Back in the Hands of Communities WHEN: Wednesday, May 28, 2025, 3–5PM ET/12–2PM PT

They pretend that the USA was founded as a Christian nation.

Then they pretend and insist they’re Christians.

Then they govern like the motherfucking antichrist.

This has always been the GOP's strategy:

1) Cut taxes for the wealthy & corporations by claiming they'll pay for themselves.

2) Explode the deficit.

3) Demand cuts to vital programs that help millions.

4) Repeat.

They're trying to get away with it again.

Today, I was denied access to seeing my constituent, Mr. Kilmar Abrego Garcia. If there is nothing to hide, cut the crap. Let his lawyer and I check on him.

Every year on Memorial Day, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring.

They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died.

France also gave us this land as American soil.

The steady stream of gaslighting propaganda, the legislative assaults on vulnerable people, and the clear mental instability of a leader whose sole intention is to seek a new moral bottom—we can't make peace with any of it.

No, none of this is normal.

Genuinely glad Russell Vought’s daughter got the NIH-backed medicine she needed. ❤️‍🩹

Now he’s trying to defund the very programs that made it possible—for everyone else. 🙃💉

Life-saving science for me, austerity for thee.
Cool plan, Volde-Vought.
Project 2025 is gutting medical funding that helped Russell Vought's own kid
Its architect's daughter has cystic fibrosis—and benefits from a "miracle drug" backed by an agency he's attacking.
