An amazing show of solidarity today on the lawn of Parliament Hill as workers came together to show support for CUPW and send a message to the government of Canada and Canada Post that workers united will never be defeated.

If in Ottawa this upcoming holiday Monday August 4th we will be holding the annual Celtic Cross Ceremony (1st lock) in remembrance of those workers and their families who died building the Rideau Canal between 1826-1832. Everyone is invited.

Just down the road we said hello to workers at WSIB, members of CUPE 1750-OCEU, who have been locked out by their employer. 1st time in their 100+ year history there has been a workplace disruption. 200,000+ claims annually now not being worked on. Sad really.
