We just had a quail hatch on our deck. She found an unused planter, laid ten eggs. They hatched about 10 days ago and the family has been hanging around the backyard. Yes, when you see daddy on the fence, the rest of the family are near.

I'm a fan of graveyard and cemetery art. I once noticed that the keeper at a graveyard near my house was removing rotted wood grave markers and I asked if I could have them for my Halloween yard haunt. I now have 6 authentic wood markers that I use in the haunt.
