I mean, there's a reason Old Man's War sounds a lot like Heinlein. We often find our own voices by borrowing others and then finding all the ways they don't fit us. Eventually we speak in the voice that's ours.

Over the weekend, I was a guest at the BOOKS BY THE BANKS festival.
I had such a great time and felt so welcomed. Kids kept seeing THE GAMER books and gravitated to them, KAIJU UNLEASHED sold out, and my other books sold well, too.
