Many thanks to Tel Aviv University and Prof. Or Porath for an invitation to give a series of lectures on Sino-Iranian relations in late antiquity, Japanese star mandalas, and ancient astronomy in East Asia. We also visited the Israel Museum yesterday evening.

Congratulations to Tristan G. Brown, whose book Laws of the Land: Fengshui and the State in Qing Dynasty China was awarded the Biannual Book Prize from the International Society of Chinese Law and History!
