However, whether or not this is the case, doesn't matter, because "Trotskyist org" and "Reading Trotsky" are not synonymous, when I say that Trotskyists might as well be ML, I mostly mean that they support all the same ML natlib movements, the same "AES" stuff, all the same marcyistic tendencies too

I think if Stalin had never assumed power, (though you would still have united front slop) Trotsky would've been much less insufferable, insisting that the USSR was still a worker's state into Stalin's reign. I believe the argument goes that Trotsky's rule would have resembled what we saw w Stalin

I wouldn't say trotskyism is ultra-left, they resemble your typical ML in many ways, however many old Trotskyist orgs like the Indochinese communist party left opposition in the 1930's were based, Ta Thu Thau 🙏
