Noelle had run up to him, Tenna grunting slightly as he scooped his growing daughter up in his damaged arms; even with the welding and other repairs done, he still struggled at times, and had electrical shocks that moves through them and occasional numbness. Noelle was getting big, and fast – she was bigger than Spamton was, now. “Daddy, your friends are so fun!” Noelle hugged him tightly around the neck, her fluffy white cheek pressing into the side of his frame as she excitedly embraced her father figure. ‘The best time of the day’, according to Noelle, was when she got to see her dad and give him a big hug. And that was a report from Queen, meaning it had to be true! “Aren’t they just? They were on my TV show with me before! Professional fun-havers!” Tenna pointed at Kris, “This one I helped raise, part of my old family!” He then pointed at Susie. “And the powerful girl who helped save my life.” Noelle pointed to Ralsei, and Tenna nodded. “The prince who gave me a home. Gives us all a home. Gives your mom a home.” The Lightners, now properly complimented and embarrassed by it, wanted to move things along. Especially since they likely had important business, and given Tenna and Spamton’s first reunion, this could take a while. “So,” Kris took off the dual-coloured shades. “Do you want us there this time?”

Defernull prattling wrt Obey - i go to think abt things to put in and wonder if it's just Too Much given everything else - it really is some goofy ass tv guy who got too serious about maintaining viewership by doing bad shit for it (controlling people, propaganda, etc) - everything starts and ends with a man who doesn't have capacity in his heart to care about others anymore, he can only care about his own happiness, viewership, himself, what he wants, so in the end, everyone else became collateral - when does Spamton get dealt with. does he die. what happens. help probably going to turn him into glasses for the purpose of the fic but it'll still be Unhappy

It was so small. A little glowing white blob, blue tints to the glow of its coding, and a very noticeable long nose. It beeped more, insistent, piercing and loud, and moved in a clumsy, slow manner. Queen took the plunge by reaching over to scoop the hatched pipis creature up. It peeped in surprise, but it reacted to Queen immediately; it pressed against her palms, curling and wriggling, its movements very slow and sluggish. A curious, freshly alive little being, exhausted from the struggling to be born, but so full of curiousity. “It’s Sticky With Unnecessary Programming,” Queen’s voice was so soft. Her thumbs gently stroked the little Darkner, and it was hard to see the limbs among the bright white and blue tint of its form. Like a little glowing ball. The obvious long, pointed nose on the near formless hatchling told Tenna everything he needed to. “It’s his.”
