I know things are allegedly happening behind the scenes, but innocent people are still languishing in foreign captivity because of the immense cruelty of our so-called Christian regime. This should bring national outrage and lead to impeachment. Not unlike everything else the regime is doing.

Newport Oregon is where I moor Millie, which I built because I love to take my family fishing and boating. Newport is home to the NOAA fleet that monitors the health of our oceans and fisheries. Many jobs were cut there today. Impacts unknown. “Ignorance” is apparently the desired future condition.

I’m a builder, fixer, jury-rigger and putterer. I built Millie starting in 2020 during covid and, after about 3500 hours of work, have an amazing boat that lives the ocean. I love learning new skills and solving problems. This was fun!

I love to be outdoors, and Oregon gives a lot of opportunity. With my young Brittany “Bia,” we’ve been climbing the hills of eastern Oregon in search of chukar. Fun and tough and very physical hunting!

I build a lot of things but the single biggest project was Millie, a Great Alaskan plywood and fiberglass fishing boat. I christened her in 2023, but she got most of her use in 2024 out of Newport Oregon. Salmon, halibut, bottom fish and tuna. So much fun.
