You have a point; they are loyal to a perverted version of America, that isn't compatible with the Constitution. And if a country would get that bad, then it is important to be loyal to the ideal, not the perversion.

I don't disagree, but would argue that the constitution is in many ways defining the country and vice versa, so it would be really hard to be loyal to one and not the other 🙂

Many Western armies don't use oaths and if they do I'm pretty sure all are about defending their country.
Also, an oath to the Constitution is also an oath to the country (which isn't a bad thing).

I wonder why many Americans have this view of the Constitution as if it's a sacred text left by gods.

Earplugs dampens the sounds; they don't remove them completely, so you can still hear everything. Depending on the type damping is muffled or more linear (like those we musicians use).
