Yall we just hit the halfway mark on the launch! If you haven't gotten yours yet please consider getting yours in ASAP! Help spread the word, lets see if we can meet our goal or pass it! Remember that early backers get a free special pull charm for their bag!
It's time ya'll!! The parasaur ita bag project is LIVE!

We need to get at least 35 of these bags pre-ordered in order for this bag to make it into production. I'll keep it open for at least 2 weeks, or until we have so many preorders I have no choice but to close them off!

I found some aliens on the wall of my house today and they were busy making new aliens.

These are Acromis sparsa, a unique species of tortoise beetle and I guess the females will guard the eggs until the young disperse. I have to watch for that!

A spider (Dolomedes sulfureus). This one looks burnt orange in the photo but is actually brilliant orange. The Japanese name is “sulfur-colored running spider” but it’s the orange color of selensulfur. Tokikubo, Komoro, Nagano #Invertebrates #Spiders

I’m not much of a photographer, but love my birds. I currently have four pairs of rose-breasted grosbeak visiting my feeder. Wonder if they will stay the summer.

micropezid flies are a common sight in Southeast Asia but they are always amusing to watch. some are better wasp mimics than others; all are very fancy.

Classroom/Library enrollment was down pretty bad in February. National chaos and uncertainly likely has something to do with it.

Can you help me make sure that all the educators on bluesky know Skype a Scientist exists and is ready to connect them with scientists? Every RT helps!

I want to thank the entomology community. I called around the world, not knowing what to expect, and was amazed, nearly everyone picked up and offered help unconditionally to the ~50 entomologists terminated by the US government. But many still need support. Let’s keep this going. #entomology 🧪
