I don’t disagree with you, I just think the balance is tilted heavily on the side of soft skills. Bjorkgren is, by all accounts, an excellent ball knower. And the team he coached demanded his ouster. That’s failure of leadership. Bjorkgren even appears to agree:

I went to that game. That was the first game that Dame was DNP as the Blazers all of a sudden steered hard into the tank. I remember because I was hoping they would wait until after that homestand to tank.
