The Obsidian Mace of Infinity is named after the duration of the Petrification (Obsidian) debuff it inflicts on you if you aren't a worthy wielder. I like to omit that fact when questgiving. Of course, if someone worthy does seek it, that's when it's time to cast the Aura of Reversed Alignments.

Mages really like the fact that they rapidly regenerate mana in proximity to Ophi, but less notice that they start to become smaller and more golden there too. Then a little more ring-shaped, then a little more +1 Ward to Wearer, then a lot more of all of those things.

The danger of a hypnotic touch over say a hypnotic gaze is that I might not notice that I've affected you with it. An accidental nudge in our cinema seats and you stop being a person for a bit and start being a bundle of servile intent.

Draining fluctuating stats like awakeness is fun too. I just put a sign up somewhere visible saying "Somnophilia Encouraged" and go to sleep under it, wake up later as the person topping me falls asleep, lock them in a chastity cage and walk off to let the sign do its work.

The turn preview shows a bunch of down arrows floating around you and a bunch of up arrows floating around me if you end your turn in my line of sight and the instant defeat skull icon if you end your turn in touch range.

If you're going to make your sona's body parts valuable (which is cool and recommended), you should also think about them being naturally booby-trapped. Horns hollowed out and filled with explosive sap, fur/wool enchanted to entangle hands, bones which seep poison when exposed to air.

I'm not really one for summoning but I could conjure a few illusions for distracting enemies. Totally harmless except for the fact that your brain can't distinguish a fake hypnotic gaze from a real one.
