OpenReception
@openreception.bsky.social
End-to-end encrypted appointment booking platform. 🌐 https://open-reception.org/
Now we are doing the final push to get our prototype ready for the @prototypefund.bsky.social demo day on November 28 in Berlin!

We've finished setting site settings, so clients will know where they are booking their appointment at.

OpenReception is primarily aimed at medical practices, and naturally there are many different types of appointments. That's why we rely on channels that can be individually customized.

From these channels and the available actors, the available appointments are then generated automatically.

The next Christmas holidays are definitely coming! 🎄

That's why OpenReception will manage free appointments for you. Simply enter your absence and appointments with your actors (agents) will no longer be offered during that period.

When we talk about appointments, people are always involved. In OpenReception, we call them agents. That's why we've built small profiles of actors, so you can choose who you want to have your appointment with.

As you can see in the video, we try to build accessible interfaces.

We can now manage tenants with OpenReception 🥳. This way, many organizations can collect encrypted appointments on one server.

Recently we showed how admins can secure an OpenReception instance. That was with a passphrase. But that's only a failsafe.

Everyone else who wants to access the dashboard and view private personal data must use a passkey.

UX isn't perfect yet, but we still have a few months for that. 😎

We have coded the first flows for OpenReception 🥳

As an admin, you can now secure your instance. This is an important first step to collect encrypted appointments.

The next updates from our @prototypefund.bsky.social grant will be coming in the next few days.
