I think my favorite (pictured in the gif) is the ability to select multiple

layers and then have the plugin download them all at once. I'm pretty confident it's now the easiest way to get a bunch of Overture data for your area of interest.

My Overture/Source Coop/Cloud downloader QGIS plug-in is live! It lets you download a GeoParquet or GeoPackage for just your view port from hosted GeoParquet files.

Check it out at plugins.qgis.org/plugins/qgis... and install it by searching for 'GeoParquet Downloader' in the QGIS plugin manager.

Yeah, and they go back 7+ years. Near daily imagery lets you get pretty close to cloudless imagery over quarterly or monthly cadences.

Got this working with my (still unannounced except for here) QGIS plugin. Not as fast as Overture since the files themselves aren't spatially partitioned (yet), but a big improvement from the previous release, as it's GeoParquet and works! Cool to see it on Hugging Face.
