Im often asked why I did something and the answer is always, “because I can” or “because I wanted to see if I could”. In today’s episode of ‘Chris, Why’d You Do That?’ I put two piezo transducers under this bass bridge, swapped the pickup for a lipstick, and added a 3-way toggle.
On a stand sits a black Squier Bronco Bass with a mirrored pickguard still covered in the protective plastic, a chrome 3-way toggle switch, a Dragonfire lipstick bridge pickup. Two piezo transducers are hidden under the bridge for extra tone possibilities. Behind the bass is a rack holding a Squier 40th Anniversary Strat, Sonic Mustang, and Paranormal Offset Tele.
