Demanding clean, breathable air for our kids & ed workers. Healthy, safe & stable schools & buses for ALL.

We believe clean air can be achieved by many means: ventilation, filtration, N95 masking, UV disinfection, & isolating.
It’s #WorldVentil8Day! 🌬️

Clean indoor air is a fundamental pillar of school safety.

Effective ventilation drastically reduces the spread of airborne illnesses (flu, RSV, COVID) and is crucial for maintaining healthy Ontario classrooms.

Back to school means back to poor indoor air quality for our kids in Ontario’s schools and school buses.

Indoor air quality has been shown to affect mental well-being, academic performance, and school attendance.

These door hangers could serve as a helpful reminder that it’s time to clean the air.

Reminder as kids head back to school next week:

There are over 4800 schools in Ontario.

We do not know the indoor air quality status in any of them.

Love to see the chickens and birds get funding for better air quality to stop the spread of HPAI in BC.

Now where’s the prioritization of this kind of funding to stop the spread of illness in schools before our kids return to school next week?

We are experiencing a dangerous heat wave in Ontario.

What is the plan for schools and school buses without A/C? How are students, educators, and bus drivers expected to endure such unsafe learning, transportation, and working conditions?

Let us know what’s happening at your family’s school(s).

We’ve mentioned this before: Ryan’s Law requires that schools take action to protect students with asthma by reducing the risk of exposure to asthma triggers.

This is one way to get AC into classrooms during a heatwave to protect vulnerable students!

ONTARIO!

TIME TO VOTE! 🗳️

We STILL don’t have air quality monitoring in Ontario schools/buses.

We STILL don’t have air quality measures to reduce pollutants & CO2 in Ontario schools/buses.

We are STILL sick and tired.

VOTE for a better future for our kids. They’re counting on us.

The toll of illnesses on our elementary & kindergarten educators is a painful reflection of society's priorities. They deserve protection & care😪

Elementary schools have the worst air quality & have class sizes that are crowded. This could be fixed if there was a political will.
