It’s exhausting… always filtering what we do and say through the lens of the *least* charitable person we can invent in our heads.

Relationships are definitely a two way street. Even if someone has something about them that makes it hard for them to reach out— anxiety or whatnot— that only serves to *explain* one possible reason for the distance. It’s not an excuse, though.
