Wei Wuxian hangs off the ropes of a wrestling ring, one leg hooked over the middle rope with his body facing the viewer. His dark hair is long and pulled into a ponytail with his red ribbon also hanging from it, and his bangs chaotically pushed out of his face. His wrestling outfit is complicated, mostly black and red. He wears black sleeves all the way up to his shoulders, bracers on his wrists and black gloves. His black wrestling tights have gray designs like smoke and show off his muscular thighs. Over them, he wears calf-high black wrestling boots with red “blood” splatters and straps. You’re not the type to come here for the “peace and quiet”.” Wei Ying made quotations with one of his hands before pointing to the incense sticks he began bringing here for Lan Zhan. They kept bugs away. His hand slid to Lan Zhan’s wrist, hooking his finger in the silk bracelet he wore. “So, tell me why do you keep coming here? If it was to see me, you could have asked for my number.” He laughed at that, the sound never ceasing to cause tingles down his spine.

Before he left though, Wei Ying gave Lan Zhan an odd look. He leaned forward, his face coming incredibly close. So close, Lan Zhan had the insane thought that Wei Ying was going to kiss him. It’s too soon! He needed to push him away. Lan Zhan closed his eyes. After a few seconds passed, he realized nothing happened. He opened his eyes to find Wei Ying holding a giant beetle by its shell in front of Lan Zhan’s face, the legs waving in the air. “You had this on your shoulder.”

Once there, he keeps his form small, slithering through the shadows in his search. It doesn't take long for him to pick up the scent of the intruder, the thief. And the other scent he knows well: his egg. The thief is in a deep sleep, unaware of WWX's presence. It's him, WWX is sure. But he ignores them for now, following the scent of his egg instead. It's alive. But when WWX reaches them, they're not an egg anymore, fully hatched. A babe dressed in fine clothes, fast asleep in the same room as the thief. It’s a baby boy and he's beautiful. Everything WWX knew he would be. And his heart breaks right then and there because it's too late.
