Some humbucker pickups have high enough output that they can be wired in parallel and switched to series mode for an onboard boost utilizing a push-pull switch. We did just that for this mandolin customer and it rips pretty hard. Come by the shop and ask us about modification services!

Swapped out footswitch for a customer on this Analog Man King of Tone. Sometimes people take “stomp box” too literally.
