Checking in from Lansing. No kings. It was quite a mob. While I didn't witness anyone erecting a gallows or beating the police with flag polls, I did see one pedestrian cross Capitol Avenue when the light was red. #nokings

Proud to host Professional Fellows today at school. Students shared their lives and learned about innovation in Africa. Students learn best when they engage with people who are different than themselves. This long standing program has been canceled by Trump. After all, the Fellow are African.

Perhaps he can replace Emhoff with one of his supporters who he recently pardoned?

You shouldn’t believe everything you read but you can believe this. Other people’s criminality may be in question, but there is no question about this.

Thank you. I was in Hanoi in January and here are two of favorite photos. Outdoor hair cut and photoshoot just before Linar New Year. What a special place.

At least someone in this fiasco has a clean record.

The White House’s response? The saddest most pathetic statement from a man convicted of 34 felonies.

Of the uncountable number of lies that have come out of this fraction of a man’s mouth, this might be the most profound.

In 2016, Andrii became part of our family when we hosted him for his American year as FLEX exchange student. We keep in close contact and has Zoomed into my classroom. He messaged me today and we meet virtually tonight. What do I explain that our country is run by a Russian asset, crime boss?

In 2016, my wife and I hosted Andrii for the year as an exchange student through the FLEX program. We have stayed in close touch. Today, he messaged us from Sumy and we are zooming tonight. What do we say to him about how our mob boss masquerading as a president has abandoned him and his family?

In 2016, we welcomed our Ukrainian exchange student for the year. As we Zoomed on Sunday, we could hear the alert sirens and he reported drones overhead. He is 50 miles from the Russian border. He says he has faith in America. I do too. We must get rid of this shameful regime who sides wirb evil.

My dad was a Jewish GI who fought in the Battle of the Bulge. My mom was 3 month older than Anne Frank. Today, my granddaughter and I visited the traveling America and the Holocaust exhibit at our State Library to learn about her great grandfather who combatted Naziism. History is the best teacher.
