All opinions my own.
I didn’t think much could be worse than JoJo Siwa’s Bette Davis Eyes but it appears I underestimated the Supreme Court.

Something to consider…
Why don't the three liberal justices simply devour the other six.

It sort of feels like America is getting a taste of what it can be like for women (who date men) when they reject a malevolent narcissist. They don’t care if it hurts them as long as it hurts you also.

Well it is an olde timey sounding STI… Is this what made America great? Stay tuned!

Hate firing scientists, definitely hate the idea of unattended frozen gonorrhea!
Well this seems like a fantastic plan.

Trade deficit. I have bought food from say, Chilis. They have never bought food from me.

There is a trade deficit with Chilis. I’m still doing fine.

The trade deficit argument SOUNDS compelling, but it’s a straw man with no relevancy

These grants were already awarded.
Groups across the country have received letters notifying them that their grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities have been canceled, raising alarms about serious harm to museums, historical sites, and a wide range of community projects.

The only interesting thing about this mess: have we ever seen a president tank an economy so quickly? Thinking historically, no?

Can someone please tell Donald Trump about Smoot-Hawley? The man has Google, does he not?

I would love for Booker to break this record fr. (Strom Thurmond was a huge 💩.)
Senator Cory Booker is only a few hours away from breaking Strom Thurmond's record for the longest speech on the Senate floor (24 hours and 18 minutes).

Every single Democratic Senator needs to be like Senator Michael Bennet out there helping Cory with his filibuster!

Come on, Cory!!!!!

While we’re on the subject of workplace errors, though, did anyone snag a TETAS hat? Because I fear those eat. Would wear.

Also I’m posting pictures of cute antique dogs. It’s not that serious. What is going on in the government?

I’m sorry but someone with anxiety could never. I check my personal Instagram posts incessantly to make sure I’m not on my work account. Living in fear pays off, y’all.

I like that the NYT expects me to care about this asteroid right now. Go ahead, hit us, we probably fired the scientists tracking it anyway.

Wouldn’t it be cool to post something neat instead of totally dire (and that sounds like your weird conspiracy theory uncle got involved but is somehow completely true)?

How is nothing substantial being done about this?
We have been careful to avoid using the word coup, but it’s time to call it what it is—this is a coup. Trump signed an executive order granting only the attorney general or the president the authority to interpret laws executed by the executive branch.

This is gnarly.
What the actual *?! The White House has designated Mr. Musk’s office, the United States DOGE Service, as an entity protected from public records requests and most judicial intervention until at least 2034, by classifying its documents as presidential records.

You’d think this wouldn’t be necessary, but so many of my students have told me they get stressed out over emails.

I will say it’s totally fine to send me an email with the salutation “dude” if you know me. I would laugh for sure.

A witch hunt has begun at the FBI. Employees are required to provide information by Tuesday and are being encouraged to report on their coworkers. The FBI questionnaire asks agents about their roles in various cases, including whether they made arrests or appeared in court, among other details.
