Just wondering if anyone else feels Bluesky isn't taking off as well as they'd hoped? Absolutely love the way it works but a lot of folk I followed on X haven't moved over and I do miss their posts. I'm thinking of returning to X but improving my filters to remove right wing loons🤔

Better pic of a Little Stint for my #2025piclist with the Hauxley bird, 1st saw it distantly at north end of the beach til flushed (3rd & 4th pics) had another try a couple of hours later by the 'totem' pole and luckily the tide had pushed it closer😊 #NEbirding #UKbirding @ntbirdclub.bsky.social

My Daughter lends me this little tinker twice a week as I can't have a dog full time anymore ( wouldn't be fair on the pooch) She's a real tonic since I lost my 19 year old Daft Jack over 10 years ago, daft as a brush and cute as owt😂😍

New scope from Viking Optics came today so couldn't resist a quick seawatch, 1st impressions are very good! My Hawke scope was carelessly damaged by me but when I sent it back under the no blame warranty they sent it back claiming the damage didn't affect performance, I know it does so beware!

My new scope has prevented me from seeing a decent number of birds today! It’s not being delivered till 1 or 2pm and I have to sign for it 🙁🙈😂🤣

#248 Long Tailed Skua past Whitburn Obs this morning, managed 3 pixels for my #2025piclist 😖 also seen quite a few Sooty S/W lately but not managed a pic and also a Great Shearwater a few days ago but no pic, thanks to the lads in the Obs for the help #NEbirding #UKbirding
