Worked for Mercedes-Benz for 30 years till 14th March 2020, the day my world changed. Covid and then followed by Long Covid. Many health issues and loss of sight in right eye. I'm not going to find the cure for this but want to be part of it.....

Painted a pebble and placed amongst others on a beach to let others know that there is support for suffering people with Long Covid. Raise awareness to the ongoing issue with covid19 and people like myself that suffer daily 5 years on with the effects of it #longcovidsupport #covidnotover

This is a bit of me before covid, and the life I now lead with Long Covid.
5 years of battle and never giving up, listening to my body and finding time to help and support others going through the same.

1826 days (5years) since I caught Covid19 and my health deteriorated and left me disabled.
I might not look ill, that's the mask I put on every day to try and fit in and hide my pains

In Dubai people with disabilities are referred as

'People with determination"

Long Covid is bad enough but when long covid clinics are being closed or combined we also losinout identify. People with ME/CFS have been side lined for so long and we are now also just 5 years on. Many people who have caught covid are now seeing new or long term health conditions. #covidnotover

Had some Bluesky yesterday and was great to get outside if only for a short while. Managed to take this shot on my phone, Swiss air from San Francisco to Switzerland @ 36000 feet. Roll on the spring #LongCovid #chronicillness #covidnotover

A new bridge in Worcester opened yesterday, it's a foot/cycle bridge but I made it a Mobility scooter bridge also. This bridge is over the longest river in England, 220 miles long and we now have 3 foot/cycle/Mobility scooter so a nice long figure of 8 roll and stroll. Roll on !!

From being a 46 year old enjoying live with no health issues to who I am today. Covid has changed me in many ways but has given me a chance to learn to be a better and kinder man than I was before, to take notice of the small things in life that would normally pass by #LongCovid
