Can anyone explain this chaos to me? I am genuinely curious.
Today somebody bought book 7 of a 7 book series, without having bought the previous 6. How do I know? I just published them, and this is the first sale. Maybe the reader is one of those who likes to know the ending before reading the rest. 🤷♂️

I spotted this post from Andrea. I love reflecting on how writers and illustrators (creators of all kinds, really) thrive on collaboration.
It is said to “Not judge a book by its cover”, but it is often the very thing that draws us to a book! My eyes often drift over to my bookcases & it is the spine or cover of a book that takes me on a journey back to the words written within. Let’s share & celebrate our favourites📚💙#booksky

Sometimes it feels like the art world online is crowded. It amazes me when I spot work like this that prove artists are still producing 'signature styles.'
Here is my signature style dip pen sumi ink drawing example (called “Theater”, 30x44 in). Drawings can be timeless and edgy at the same time 👩🎨

Started off this morning with a really lovely brunch with some of my favorite people and now I'm sneaking in a bit of work on my YA fantasy WIP before I run off to dinner ❤️
