It’s going to get down to -9°F tonight so Alex is putting poly over the chicken coop windows. He wasn’t able to get to it before our last two elderly hens put themselves to bed so now they’re scolding him, some. He’s also put a string of mini colored lights up for them. Stay warm, ladies!

Thank you so much! We only do this one balsam (until it gets too tall) and the light does look like the birches are lit, too. We have lights on the garage and on our stoop and we put lights in the garland at the front, too. Oh, and the mailbox gets lights.
