Anyway, @samriegel.bsky.social, may the filament (?) be with you through lies and dimness. We eagerly await your next revelation.
November 13, 2025 at 4:59 AM
To that point, our Running Bird Count is now up to 47.

This week, we’re excited to greet you with the reappearance of an old favorite of a data category: Sam’s Alarming Drinking Vessels. It’s good to have you back, Sam’s Alarming Drinking Vessels!

We got a great question on tumblr about the text on Alex's Ep4 hat. Our answer: it says “Welcome to Jerusalem’s Lot Maine est. 1710.”

That's a fictional town from Stephen King’s novels, which means that @alexanderward.bsky.social managed to sneak some horror into his Thad outfit after all.

We can’t believe we have to wait however long to see our Seekers and Schemers again, but we can’t wait to see our Soldiers tonight. Is it 7pm Pacific Time yet?
November 7, 2025 at 2:05 AM
That wraps up our combat highlights, but stay tuned this week for a write-up of what we know about everyone’s builds coming out of the overture! Also, separately, our running Brennan Bird Counter total has risen to 40. 🕊️
November 7, 2025 at 2:05 AM
Vaelus also led the episode in number of Nat 1s with three, although we had an all-around impressive(/frightening) showing on that front with an episode total of 8.
November 7, 2025 at 2:05 AM
We also saw our first death of the campaign in this episode. Our leader in damage taken this fight was Occtis @alexanderward.bsky.social, who took more than double his max HP (23) for a deadly total of 50, all while wearing a very handsome pink polo shirt.
November 7, 2025 at 2:05 AM
He, and @matthewmercer.bsky.social, more than deserved to get this campaign's very first HDYWYTD.
November 7, 2025 at 2:05 AM
First, a round of applause for our top damage dealer, Julien, who dealt out an impressive 107 points of damage (at level 3!)—all while staying on his feet with a max HP of 39, having taken 46 points of damage and 10 points of healing.

🖤☠️🖤 Don’t know about you, but we felt absolutely *hollow* with fear. 🖤☠️🖤
November 7, 2025 at 2:05 AM
At least the stakes were the same, though! Wait—
November 7, 2025 at 2:05 AM
No, but actually, @aabria.bsky.social made some good points. Let’s look at a side-by-side:

And we now have our table of soldiers!
October 24, 2025 at 1:28 AM
Twenty-eight items were exchanged, including sherry, paint, and a very fancy very long vest.
October 24, 2025 at 1:28 AM
We learned of and/or met 20 new NPCs, including an intriguing mention of Ksha'aravi, the High Prince of Demonkind and the Shadow of Suffering, and a mysterious picture of a lost lover.
October 24, 2025 at 1:28 AM
Vaelus was our top damage-dealer with 31 points of damage. (We love you, level 3.)
October 24, 2025 at 1:28 AM
The campaign now has its first battlemap (the Guard Tower), its first Matt face palm (Sam caused it), and its first DM Nat 20 (a Crow Keeper’s athletics check to pin Wulfric).
October 24, 2025 at 1:28 AM
The Brennan Bird Counter has now reached 32. (See our site for what we count as bird mentions.)
October 24, 2025 at 1:28 AM
We also have data organized by episode and by type. To view episode thumbnails, navigate to our Data By Episode page. As for Data by Type, data categories currently available include episode overview stats, character data, combat & casting, inventory, story, and Just For Fun.

First, note that the most recent set of character cards will always appear on our Data By Character page. Each card is hyperlinked to that individual character’s data page.
October 17, 2025 at 1:45 AM
For your convenience during tonight’s episode, we’ve also got a chart of everyone’s connections to Thjazi, both short-form and long-form.
October 10, 2025 at 1:44 AM
Our favorite was this 19 perception check by Teor, which yielded a description that consisted almost entirely of five different bird species.
October 10, 2025 at 1:44 AM
Speaking of birds, by the way, we counted a total of 17 bird mentions in this first episode, starting with magpies almost right out the gate at 0:03:01. No greater sage-grouses yet, but there’s still time.
