A shambolic rube. London dweller. Worst stereotype you can imagine.

He/Him
Not sure why 28 years later is getting panned so hard by audiences.

I was blown away a bit by how moving it was. Like a Ken Loach kitchen sink drama with zombies. Really extraordinary stuff.

Yeah the ending is absolutely nuts and tonally a total 180 but I sort of enjoyed that.

Absolutely delighted to report that ChatGPT cannot understand or create new black country/Brummie accent jokes (e.g General: "we didn't come here to die"

Private: "no we came here yesterday")

The new Pulp album is obviously great - but this bit from the Guardian review of it perfectly articulates why I love Pulp so much.

Me when the new BCNR album came out: yeah I'm not sure if I'm really feeling their new sound tbh

Also me mere weeks later:

Fashion people - does anyone know why this shade of green is so rare to find (at least in men's clothing). Most green shades are washed out/paler. Is it a trend thing or a material difficulty in producing a stable dye this colour?

30 years of The Bends - Radiohead's 8th best album. Mainly a two fingers up at Creep, resisted the Britpop turn of the 90s, and featuring green shoots of the all time greatness to follow in OKC.

Fake Plastic Trees and Street Spirit remain as some of the best alt-rock tracks of all time.

The best thing about the apprentice is the insane encyclopedic knowledge of past series reddit has.

I'm sure there's some online database but even so. Great stuff.

I have never seen such a beautiful sight in my life

There is of course this mystery clock in Bristol that also features the standard IV as a bit of an anomaly, but I give that a pass as being a quirky old thing rather than a graphic designer not being familiar with horological convention

Unreasonably irritated by the use of the standard roman numeral IV rather than the clockmaker's IIII

Why have we all forgotten the incredible scenes of Albania putting up massive posters of David Cameron's face in vain because he was called back due to the General Election!?

I can't believe in all the yearly roundups, this absolutely haunting image did not make the cut.

I forgot that this had happened this year!

I don't believe Spotify wrapped is real. I listened to CMAT and Enjoyable Listens far more than Everything Everything. Stats.fm backs me up!
