I just hope in the end that things stay changed after this. That things go well, that people are eager to read this one. I'm sending those good vibes out, and hoping for the best.

When the book finishes I'll still have weeks of the challenge to go, so I'll probably move on to Book 2. Which I also never thought would be a possibility, but here we are. I can't believe it.

I think the only reason why it changed is because I finally put my foot down with myself and made myself do a writing challenge. Because I'm stubborn I've stuck with it, and now the book's almost done.

It didn't go in my favor, which honestly just happens...but it discouraged me so much coupled with mental health struggles and increasing stresses from work that I just stopped writing consistently altogether.

Since 2020, I've edited some past novels, wrote about halfway through some, wrote some short stories, but my efforts to finish a new novel dimmed greatly after my attempts to query.
