I learned that former Boston Poet Laureate Danielle Legros Georges has passed after a long struggle with cancer. I have had the distinct pleasure of working with her and performing with her many times over the years. This is a tremendous loss for the poetry community.

Bought a cello for my kid for Christmas. He’s obsessed with composing these days and he loves classical music. I know nothing about cellos or this world, but I do know it makes him happy. Now I gotta find lessons for him in Central MA.
