Carney did a great job not laughing in Trump's face., but his face said it all. Other countries would have to pay more to be able to shop in US? WTF was that? Wasn't Trump's grievance that others don't buy enough from them? Even he doesn't know what point he is trying to make. Trump is a joke

Dealing with Trump is like dealing with an untrained monkey. He wasn't going to start a fight with that imbecile before the talks. He got 2 main points across. Never a State and CUSMA needs to be dealt with because it's not fair to Canada.
Carney's face said a LOT.
May 7, 2025 at 1:59 AM
He has to go. He has to get a read on the situation first hand. Carney is fully capable to determine where we stand. That's an adult, serious thing to do.
May 5, 2025 at 12:25 AM
Well, he is mine. I like that we have Monarchy. Not a fan of Charles and Camilla , but I loved Queen Elizabeth and I love Catherine and William.
May 5, 2025 at 12:19 AM
Why would I try to tell you that? Harper is IDU , they all have moved from conservative parties to far right and culture wars.
May 1, 2025 at 10:40 PM
Our media does shitty job reporting the truth on PC's and CPC. Social media is flooded with bots and maga nut cases. Many people will not do a research to get to the truth, many don't even know how. Our media is definitely responsible for the BS the CONs are getting away with.
May 1, 2025 at 2:13 PM
Harper started the job moving Conservatives further right, Poilievre is taking it even further. A lot of Canadians don't realize what a disaster we were able to avert. I just hope he isn't allowed to remain as Leader, because Parliament has a big job ahead and all PP brings , is a circus.
May 1, 2025 at 2:07 PM
That is exactly how you end up with Trump. They SCOTUS changed the rules over 20 years ago on election donations and it's been going downhill ever since. Alberta is going down a dangerous path, but will Albertans do anything about it? I doubt it.
April 30, 2025 at 9:06 PM
You just scared a bit to see Bloc and CPC have more than half the votes. My heart skipped a beat so I checked! 😅
April 30, 2025 at 12:28 AM
Oh please. First a LOT of progressives voted CPC for some reason. Second, people from all parties were voting for their candidates who they knew had no chance of winning , giving away the seats to CONs. All parties could've more seats at the expense of CONs if they didn't waste their votes.
April 30, 2025 at 12:26 AM
How did you get these numbers? We have 343 ridings and your break down adds up to 351 !
April 30, 2025 at 12:12 AM
You are forgetting how many NDP voters this time voted CPC? The vote splitting was done by NDP, Liberal and Green voters. So stop the blame game. Everybody screwed up.
April 29, 2025 at 11:54 PM
On another thread, they were already listing things NDP should demand to back Liberals. How is that for unity? Granted maybe the politicians will be smarter than that.
April 29, 2025 at 9:29 PM
The only thing that will let the winners get thing done is ranked ballot. Coalitions are not stable or trustworthy.
April 29, 2025 at 9:26 PM
This is getting pathetic. The NDP voters already calling for blackmail of Liberals to get what they want. I am for ranked choice voting, but coalitions are unstable and untrustworthy.
April 29, 2025 at 9:23 PM
I hope that was sarcasm. So many voted Conservative and now with 7 seats are already starting with demand and blackmail.
April 29, 2025 at 9:14 PM
That's why I don't support NDP anymore. 7 seats and you are already starting with demands. Huge amount of NDP voters , voted Conservative. That is disgusting.
April 29, 2025 at 9:12 PM
Don't get me wrong.I like NDP ( hated Singh ),but I was hoping for stability for a little while. I am still baffled why would people split their votes in ridings their candidate had no chance of winning (people of ALL parties) and let it fall to CONs. ALL parties could've more seats, except CONs
April 29, 2025 at 9:03 PM
Thank you for that. I'm still uneasy with the minority government, so this reminded me things could be worse.
April 29, 2025 at 8:54 PM
Great. So the blackmail and uncertainty can start all over again.
April 29, 2025 at 8:24 PM
I know. I said it is sad that the vote splitting caused lost seats for PARTIES. I have been advocating to ALL , not to waste votes from beginning of campaign, if your candidate has no chance of winning, whoever they maybe( except CONs of course). But here I'm only talking about the last 11 ridings.
April 29, 2025 at 5:30 PM
I am taking about the ridings in THIS video.
April 29, 2025 at 5:22 PM
Not in these ridings. In two they are head to head, in the rest they are not even close.
April 29, 2025 at 5:21 PM
It is so sad that the vote splitting may cause parties to lose more seats, especially Liberals may lose seats by a thousand votes because people voted for NDP or Green in ridings they had NO chance of winning. They might have given those seats to CONs , how sad is that.
