These were taken at Moon House on Cedar Mesa. The one that appears to be a blur is actually the inside of a room littered with 800 year old corn cobs!

A few months ago I was at Pinnacles NP. There was a creek behind my campsite. This critter crossed the creek and knew exactly what to head for. I shooed it away. When I went to my camper to turn in, there were muddy paw prints all over the inside, including on my bed. Moral-close the dang door!

I've never been able to photograph lightening before. I usually just get a dark blank sky. Yesterday I was able to get these with my phone. Not the most dramatic pics but considering I took about 100 to get these, I was happy! The half circle could be the Nexus from Star Trek Generations??

Almost 20 years ago I went up Half Dome. No permit was required then. I knew about the cables but it didn't occur to me to bring gloves for protection. I've often wondered if that pile is still there! I was the first one up, no others till I went down. Folks looked like a line of ants going up

Both these were taken at the White Tank Campground in Joshua Tree NP many years ago. The Fire in the Sky is a sunrise; the Blue and the Gold is a sunset. I couldn't believe that sky when I poked my head out of the tent that morning...
