This 1 day foster made a big impression. Chance was found in N Manitoba running around w/a foot dangling. Real survivor. We picked her up at the vet & took her the next day 2 #WinnipegHumaneSociety 4 further treatment (possible prosthetic) be4 going up 4 adoption. Good luck little 1! #DogsOfBlueSky

Foster pup #Scarlet looking suitably adorable. She's a timid pup who has taken to our dogs very well, learned to trust my wife and I, but still hasn't branched out to explore the entire house after being with us for several weeks. We let her go at her own pace. #DogsOfBlueSky

Update. Marigold had both her surgeries last week and they went well. She had some swelling around the eye that turned out to be air (??) but is doing very well & back to showing her bubbly personality. She's also growing more and more hair every day as her skin infection disappears. #DogsOfBluesky

Foster dog Marigold will be having two surgeries Thursday. She's being spayed & having her left eye removed. Vet feels her vision is likely low in the eye & that because it is ulcerated it may be causing her some discomfort. Also precautionary so as not 2 cause health issues later on. #DogsOfBlueSky
