A close female scientist friend of mine who works at NASA just dm’d me to say a feature article about her and her bio have been erased, too. As well as being an incredible scientist, she happens to also be Hispanic.

Pity NASA decided to roll over rather than saying

NASA did a feature on me last year. It was up this weekend but now when you click on the link you get a 404 message.

Well the award for most cowardly, boot-lickingest academic society has squarely gone to the American Society of Microbiology, who has taken down features of various non-white scientists. Absolutely pathetic behavior. Those articles are now coming up as “under review”. Truly sickening cowardice here.

GenAI has polluted image search results, especially for animal pics. It’s now basically impossible to find accurate art references.

Enter this: a repository of open-access, AI-free images of wild & exotic taxa. Artists creating *without AI* have blanket permission for derivative/transformative use.

Ran 2 games of Blood on the Clocktower tonight. The first one even ended with a nicely dramatic successful slayer shot!

Second game I was able to give the classic "Andrew is executed. Andrews dies, I'd like to congratulate... <nice suspenseful pause> neither team, the game continues. Go to sleep"
