We lost our pippie dog today. He was 16 years, 8 months old. He was our hiking buddy, my garden guardian, and a loving companion. He absolutely loved fruits and veggies. Cantaloupe, watermelon, peas, carrots, broccoli. He had a good life and I will always think of him flying to meet us. RIP

My husband had surgery on his neck on Wednesday of last week. He's doing great and sleeping a lot. Thought I would use my quiet time designing my postcards for next years postcard drive. Got three designs. Can't decide which I like best.

I couldn't believe my eyes this morning when I noticed this clematis blooming. It's not the time of year I expect to see this beauty strut it's stuff. But I will take it on the November day Thought it would be nice to share it with all of you.

I walked into my small local store to pick up a few items today.
Right inside the door is a bin table with random food items on it.
The sign read "Take what you need, Give what you can "
Made me feel good they seem to care. Of course I gave what I could today. But will donate each visit I make.

Muskogee which is Red, Red, Red Oklahoma had our own NO KINGS rally. So pleased with the turnout and reception. We figure we got around 100 protesters even though we got soaked our first hour. No violence, just smiles, chants and comradery.

I love late summer while the hummingbirds are the most active here. This little lady has claimed my turks caps flowers as her own private reserve. She has quit worrying about me and I feel honored she trusts me.

The permission slips were to give the police the right to shadow them at all times. Can't have them leaving again you know. So yes they are being followed everywhere.
