These cookies are about as obviously store made as can be, but I put them in my own container and I guess that plus an (obvious) joke from my wife about how hard I’d worked at baking them was enough to convince her dad that I actually did bake them. He asked for them for several years after.
Store made sugar cookies in very intricate Santa and candy cane shapes, covered with red and green sprinkles. They’re not the soft cookies, but the snappy ones that taste like nothing.
