The current thing-to-do is refactor the player logic to include a state machine.

I skipped this part of the tutorial thinking i would not need it, but now i want a death animation & some extra logic when spawning in & a victory state.

There will be statically-placed food particles to route to, and dynamically spawning MICE that are worth more food.

It would be interesting to involve some kind of damage system where large mice, RATS, can attack and reduce your size or kill you.

This gameplay loop may necessitate having a larger map and scrolling. Perhaps the whole level will be viewable on a pip or minimap, or allow the player to scroll the camera in and out.

Name pending, but it will be something like Adventure Snake.
You start in a Nest, a rectangle with a pattern of missing blocks.

The goal of each level is to become large enough to fill all the empty spaces in the Nest.

A lot of this could be resolved by diligently measuring things out with a ruler and using a straight edge...
Artists who draw complex perspective without these are super impressive (lots of hours of practice!)

Attempting pen & paper anatomy studies has only revealed i have trouble drawing odd geometric shapes in perspective, and maintaining the proportion of shapes relative to one another 🤔
