I've never thought that coastal cities don't matter. I'm not sure where you got that. I just think that any successful progressive movement cannot exclude the middle of the country or the south.

I live in Columbus in a precinct that votes 85% Dem. Why shit on Ohio just because rural places are outvoting cities? Why not support people organizing here?

Do keep in mind that gerrymandering discourages turnout when races are non-competitive, as does having one early voting location per county regardless of population. It's not our only problem in Ohio, but it disproportionately affects groups that lean left.
