Naturally, I opened my email to unsubscribe from Teen Vogue immediately and the button on the site seems to be dead?
I was laid off from Teen Vogue this week, alongside multiple other phenomenal team members.
At our Summit, I was asked how it felt to be 1 of 2 Black women left and what that meant for representation. Now, there are no Black women at Teen Vogue and that is incredibly painful to think about.

I wanna pull this guy. As a trainer, I know many fearful dogs do better once they’re out of the shelter. His whole life has been turned upside down. With some time to acclimate and patience, he’ll open up. He just needs more time and a change in environment.

Shame is good & necessary. Constitutional law scholar Maryanne Frank says the right conflates being disliked with being vulnerable and it seems Ezra has accepted this conflation at face value. If he had any shame, he’d be embarrassed but I imagine he’s spent the last several yrs avoiding just that.

ICE killed a father of three in Franklin Park a few days ago. They are snatching people at gas stations, at bus stops, and from their homes and cars, leaving screaming, panicked children in their wake. It is a nightmare, and when ICE has amassed 10,000 new agents, it could be the new normal.
