Just in case those of us fighting for democracy in court didn't need another challenge, Big Law turning collaborators is here and growing. My firm and others continue to fight.

We will never back down. We will never bend a knee. We will never obey.

Now that Wall Street correctly believes, in light of his tariffs, that Trump is insane, is it really going to look with favor upon the law firms that shamelessly caved to him?

A strong and principled response by WilmerHale to the illegal Executive Order attack - a form of attempted government intimidation declared unconstitutional by a federal judge.

This is how to guard the rule of law.

Hey, Politico --

I consider myself to have "long-term standing in the private legal community" and I have been willing to speak out almost every single day. And, I'm not alone.

Yes, there is widespread cowardice among law firms, but don't ignore those refusing to bow down.

Defiantly,

Let’s face it, Schumer has been terrible even before this. It is time for new leadership. He isn’t the person for this moment in history, and the longer he clings to power the worse off we all are.

I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to “the left” and therefore ignorable.

Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes.

Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason.

Jim Hines. Get with the times or get out of the way. If you believe “rules, decorum, and accountability” are important, look across the aisle. They are. Nonexistent. Don’t criticize your own. This is not the 1970’s. You’re lost and out of step.
Dem Rep. Jim Hines, voting to censure Al Green, said “I believe rules, decorum and accountability are important regardless of political party and beliefs.” This old thinking is being exploited by Trump and his regime. It misses our current emergency.
