You said previously that the few violent folks in LA can't justify the whole movement being called an insurrection. You should keep consistency here.

I made a statement of fact about insurrections and laws, and you turned it into an attack and argument. I never intended to have a "bold" commentary about this to begin with, so judging me based on that criteria is nonsensical. You're attacking windmills here.

It's not "my" definition, it's just "the" definition, to be clear
And I think the Jan 6 mess was also not widespread enough to be an "insurrection," same as the situation in LA right now, but if it had grown and been consistently violent I'd classify it that way for sure.

Lmao I'm very much not backtracking, if this stuff continues as it is it is justifiably called an insurrection, and no amount of you complaining into the void on bluesky is gonna change the outcome there.

if you read carefully I never said there was an insurrection happening, I said it is allowed (military coming in) for those purposes. it's not yet there I agree bc it's not widespread enough, but if it does get there, obviously the feds would wanna be prepared.

Those two are not mutually exclusive. There is rioting, looting, burning random stuff, clearly - and maybe that's simultaneously people attempting to protect their neighbors etc.
