MNLC was invited because of our 40-year history supporting migrants and newcomers in Canada, and through Aurora House, our specialized work with survivors of trafficking and gender-based violence. These stories mirror the lived experiences of many community members we walk alongside.

MNLC was invited because of our 40-year history supporting migrants and newcomers in Canada, and through Aurora House, our specialized work with survivors of trafficking and gender-based violence. These stories mirror the lived experiences of many community members we walk alongside.
We’re incredibly grateful to Theatre of the Beat for using their artistic talent and platform to shine a light on the realities of human trafficking, unsafe labour conditions, and the hidden systems that enable exploitation.
