362) The Book of Randicus

Not much to say, just classic Randy. Wasn't huge on the switching between the live performance and recorded segments, they felt a bit jarring and intrusive, but otherwise this was a very fun time, as it always is watching Randy's stuff. The old man joke was fucking gold.

(Re:) 361) Top Gear: Vietnam Special

While not quite my fav, this being the highest rated Top Gear ep on IMDB is very well deserved. hilarious as always, Jeremy's nagging & the gifts especially, and offers an brilliant look into its country. I wanna go to Vietnam, it seems like a wonderful country.

360) The Man Who Killed Hitler and then the Bigfoot

Despite dragging at points, I never expected a film with that title to be as gripping & well made as it is. Calvin's a really likeable protagonist & the message of self-worth & letting go of your regrets that the film conveys through him is great.

With a title like that you wouldn't expect this to unironically be one of the most well shot and pretty movies I've seen in a long time. Calvin is a genuinely well written and really emotional character and he kept me glued to the screen.

(Re:) 359) Randy Writes a Novel

Randy's famous show, & still one of his best, if not quite my favourite. Hilarious, yet still substantial & thought-provoking, the bookshelf story is forever goated. I can't stress how incredible his puppetry is, too. So much expression & great physical comedy.

(Re:) 358) Pokémon: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages

Not as bad as I remember, but still completely worthless, with an VERY annoying main 'mon, & completely soulless, passionless action scenes that only exists for you to go "wow, it's that thing I like!". Hoopa deserves so much more than this dogshit.

(Re:) 357) Sonic: Nazo Unleashed

I don't care how much its age shows, going back to it with friends who both had & hadn't seen it before was some of the most fun I've had all year. A core pillar of my childhood that I will forever love & hold dear to me. Nazo goated, Shadic goated, CHAKRAX GOATED!!

Im still pretty casual to this Sonic stuff so watching this felt like I was hit by a sensory overload beam from the 2000's

The charm and love for the inspirations are as apparent as can be. It may not be made for me but that doesn't stop it from being really fun.

Sonic: Nazo Unleashed (revisit)

I am not joking or exaggerating when I say this is one of the most important works of art ever made. Every second of this movie makes me smile and makes me truly, more than nearly anything in this world, happy. Thank you always and forever for making this, ChakraX

Ok look I get that this was a lot of people's childhood and I can respect both the people that like it and the creator making something like this in 2006. But I will say that I didn't get much out of this and it's not for me. Feels like it's doing too much imo.

342) The Grand Tour: The Survival of the Fattest

I'm still very new to this Grand Tour stuff, so it was nice to finally get to watch one of the specials, and yeah it definitely didn't disappoint lol. Really funny and gave a great exploration of a country I'll never visit.

All hail John

356) Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened

Looks great but otherwise it's very boring, not much happens, the characters are lame, and the red Genesect sounds like Springtrap. Mewtwo sucks here too, rlly bad pseudo-follow up to their role in the first movie. Would fuck a Genesect btw.

355) Pokémon: Zoroark - Master of Illusions

Maybe the most 5 out of 10 movie of all time. Nothing particularly bad here, but also nothing that good or memorable either. Zoroark definitely needed more screentime but Zorua was cute and fun so that kinda balances out? Idk, it's fine i guess.
