The Indie Game Awards from Six One Indie just started last year but they were my favorite of last year, honestly. I really liked how they recognized games and their developers. Not really sure about all the behind the scenes stuff, but it felt balanced and the nominees and winners made sense.

Honestly I view the Game awards as my least favourite ceremony, in terms of gravitas. The BAFTA game awards are what I view the highest, followed by DICE and the golden joysticks. I find the Game Awards too commercialised, and don’t particularly like how they do judging.
