The truth is that we don't. The media may pretend we do, as do some of the more vocal tinfoil-hatted denizens here and on X but actually ask the public for their views and you find majority support across all ages and all political parties, Left and Right, in favour of the idea.

At least Flesh Gordon was a sex comedy spoof. I'm not sure what they were thinking about when they designed these things in Zack Synder's 'Man of Steel'.

American voters total lack of self-reflection after spending over a decade electing politicians who were OPENLY engaging in a plan to rig the Judiciary at all levels, so they could then force through hateful ideology that they'd never be able to get elected on even in Red states.
