I think my favorite thing about Hazbin s2 is that all of the human flashbacks held a certain nostalgic factor solely built on everything I, as a fan, used to imagine as possibilities for these characters and this world when the pilot dropped, despite having never experienced it before.

The thing to understand about Charlie is that she’s in the same boat as Luci and Sera in regards to having no real experience with the human condition. I think people look this over because she comes off more social and well-adjusted, but she’s performing HARD.

This is why, if you're gonna do the Santa thing, once they get to the point where they ask these questions it should become a *concept* of generosity and charity rather than an actual person. "Santa" is the kindness in our hearts and our desire to make things better.
We had the boys pick out toys that could go to Toys For Tots, explaining that some kids weren’t as lucky as they were at Christmas, etc. Then the eight year-old hit me with the ol’ “well, isn’t Santa going to bring them toys?” and, man, Santa is definitely hard to reconcile with a sense of charity.
