I speculate that Bluesky's more susceptible simply by being newer. They don't have years of pre-LLM interaction data to figure out the human core of the userbase. If they want to keep the bots off it'll be all hard work, not just a matter of ideology or attitude.

Bluesky's done a stellar job so far swatting away all the LLM profiles I've reported, including ones that from an outside glance would pass as a real person

For my part I am in way too deep trying to get an older hifi system onto 5 GHz via a raspberry pi eth/wifi bridge. I'm up to bonjour proxying and at this point I'm prepared to run any iptables command the slop shop comes up with if it works and I can stop thinking about it

Interestingly it seems even Ars is only speculating that it’s WFA - though their reasoning makes sense. Still, interesting possibilities if you could have, say, a Raspberry Pi with USB adapter that can do P2P wifi with all modern phones.
