SO MUCH LESS WORK!!!!

Once you have collected (over the years, no need for all of it at once) the linen and lace tablecloths & napkins, teapots, trio teacup sets, napkin rings, vintage champagne glasses, cake forks; there's little actual expense for the food.

I do a High Tea for Xmas...cold cuts on cute sandwiches, some scones with cherry jam and brandy dollop cream, and I ask all my guests to bring sweet treats for the top tier of the cake stands. So much cheaper than a full meal, less work, less clean-up, and still very special.

So, ladies, did you have help from the menfolk this year?
I hope at the very least they are doing all the cleanup, washing the dishes, and massaging your feet.
