How ocean warming will influence plankton abundance and metabolism is the multi-million dollar question! Respiration probably increases, and nutrients will likely become harder to access. Thank you! I have only used transcriptomes collected from the same location and time. It would be interesting to see how community distributions change with a de novo approach. Apparently it can work well. Would be fun to compare the two methods side by side..

Thank you! I have only used transcriptomes collected from the same location and time. It would be interesting to see how community distributions change with a de novo approach. Apparently it can work well. Would be fun to compare the two methods side by side..
