came here to say this - he’s actually one of the most accomplished heart surgeons in the world

which makes the fact he’d rather spend his days peddling supplements that much more infuriating

allowing someone to hold an extreme amount of wealth allows them to be able to sway legislation and elections, which will always ultimately lead to a similar version of where we currently are.

imo it’s fundamentally flawed b/c it will always reward folks who hoard resources, ultimately leaving to those with more than they need and many without enough.

the structure being a republic isn’t helping that’s evident, but we’ve been headed here for a long time.
